Retiree Resources

Founded in 1995, the College Retirees’ Association is made up of staff, faculty, and administrators who have retired from FJC/FCCJ/Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). We meet for lunch on the second Thursday of each month (except July and August) at 11:30 a.m. for lunch to discuss group business and hear 30-minute presentations on topics ranging from Medicare to senior safety and community organization engagement. The location varies, at a College campus location or a local restaurant. The cost of lunch is $15.

The College Retirees’ Association is a great way to keep abreast of college news, celebrate your service to FSCJ and stay in touch with FSCJ friends and colleagues. You might even meet a few new ones as well! Members get a monthly newsletter that includes a recap of the previous month’s meeting, minutes of the latest Board of Trustees meeting, and announcements of upcoming meetings. The association’s annual dues are only $15. • Library Access: Set an appointment with the Benefits team to get an updated Retiree ID Badge. This badge gives retired employees access to and the ability to check out resource materials at all FSCJ Libraries.
