Public, Charter and Private School Student

Students attending select high schools in Duval and Nassau counties are eligible to participate in FSCJ Dual Enrollment. Students and parents will want to discuss this program with their high school counselor to see if they qualify for the program.

Steps to Enrollment

Consult Your School Counselor:

Contact your school counselor to confirm you meet the eligibility requirements for Dual Enrollment. Once your school counselor confirms you’ve met the criteria, you can begin the Dual Enrollment application process. If you complete the Dual Enrollment application and are not qualified, your application will not be processed.

Test Scores:

Students will be required to have placement scores after they fill out the application. Please speak with your school counselor to test.  Students can use PERT, ACT, SAT and CLT. We also accept alternative assessments, i.e. PSAT (10th grade) or PreACT scores. Select high schools participate in alternative assessment.

New Student Orientation:

Orientation for new students will be set up by FSCJ for specific dates and locations depending on the locations of the students.

Online Dual Enrollment Application:

Submit an online FSCJ Dual Enrollment application at apply.fscj.edu

Registration Form:

Complete the FSCJ Registration Form. These will be sent to you by your FSCJ Dual Enrollment Coordinator. You will need your FSCJ “S” number to complete this form. Students needing assistance filling out the registration form should meet with their high school counselor to ensure that not only college credit will be achieved but applicable high school credit is applied. When choosing elective credits, please consult the Dual Enrollment Academic Advising Guide.

myFSCJ:

Log in to your myFSCJ account.

Student Schedules:

Students are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their Dual Enrollment schedule. Please check your Concise Student Schedule under the Student tab in your myFSCJ account. If you see a balance on your schedule or incorrect or missing courses, please email your FSCJ Dual Enrollment Coordinator. When you email, be sure to include your FSCJ student number and the course that is incorrect or missing from your schedule, and we will return your email with an appropriate solution. Emails without the incorrect or missing course will be unable to be returned due to the volume of emails we receive.

Textbooks:

Textbooks are provided to all Dual Enrollment students and can be picked up at the campus bookstores. Dates to pick up books will be sent out by FSCJ.

Student Accommodations (if needed):

If you are receiving any disability services at your high school, these services do not automatically transfer to FSCJ when you become a Dual Enrollment student. You will need to visit you nearest FSCJ Advising Center to work with an advisor to determine if those same services can be provided.

    • Unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
