Training Today for Independence Tomorrow

The Vision Education & Rehabilitation Center is a community-based rehabilitation program for adults and high school students with blindness or visual impairment. Through specialized training, the students learn the necessary skills to gain independence in the home, workplace and community.

The Vision Education & Rehabilitation Center services are offered at no cost to the student. Training is made possible by the Florida Division of Blind Services and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Located at the Downtown Campus since 1982, the Vision Education & Rehabilitation Center has maintained national accreditation and trains 300 to 400 students annually.
