FSCJ is closed for Winter Break, Thursday, December 19-Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. The College will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Florida residency for tuition purposes must be established for each student
All secondary (high school) and postsecondary (colleges/universities) transcripts must be on file with FSCJ.
Assessment and placement tests should be complete to determine what your initial set of college classes will be.
Orientation is open to new students enrolled in bachelor’s and associate degree programs, as well as technical certificates.
You can bring up to two guests to Orientation, however, going solo can be a fantastic opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the experience, make new connections and embrace the adventure.
Absolutely! Orientation includes a dedicated workshop where you can enroll in classes, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please make sure you have an active application, completed Florida Residency and valid placement on file.
You'll have the chance to receive your official FSCJ Student ID at Orientation, however, if you miss the opportunity, you can always swing by any FSCJ Library and Learning Commons to pick one up.
Absolutely! You'll have an opportunity to take a self-guided tour right after Orientation. For details about guided campus tours, check out our Tours webpage.
Experiencing Orientation on campus is ideal, however, there is a self-paced online orientation for those who need more flexibility. Online Orientation can be accessed through your myFSCJ portal.
Yes, you can attend Orientation at the location that's most convenient for you. It does not have to be the same location where you plan to attend classes.
