Automotive Service Management Technology (A.A.S.)

The Automotive Service Management Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) will prepare you for employment as a service technician in the automotive service industry. This two-year training, selective access program, is hands-on and teaches you to locate problems and repair and service engines, fuel, emission, steering and suspension systems, brakes, drive trains and transmissions.

Using a combination of theory and practical instruction, students will be capable and comfortable with high-tech electronic engine controls and electrical and computerized systems upon completion. Safe, efficient work practices are also part of the excellent all-around instruction.

Career Options

The Automotive Service Management Technology program prepares students for a job as an expert auto and light truck technician. Upon completion of the program, students will be comfortable with high-tech electronic engine controls and electrical and computerized systems. Safe, efficient work practices and “people skills” are part of the excellent all-around instruction.
