Financial Services (B.S.)

Invest in your future with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Financial ServicesBanking is one of the largest industry sectors in the First Coast region. Providing the capital needed for families and businesses to invest for the future, banking is an essential stimulus of the U.S. economy and finance majors with the critical decision-making skills essential in banking and finance are needed. The program is a combination of finance/accounting courses and business courses.  Courses such as Financial Accounting and Principles of Management prepare you for your future career. Classes are offered with fully online courses or as hybrid courses to accommodate students’ schedules and learning preferences, with most courses also being offered in an accelerated eight-week format.

This degree program supplies groundwork in financial education and business administration, with an emphasis on banking. Subjects covered range from money, banking and financial markets, to strategic management and decision making. With a finance degree you will be fully prepared for a variety of business jobs and finance jobs including a loan officer, credit analyst, financial manager, or other roles in the finance or banking industry, or to continue on to graduate school.
