FSCJ is closed for Winter Break, Thursday, December 19-Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. The College will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025.
The FSCJ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course is an advanced program designed for individuals who have completed the Yellow and Green Belt courses and are ready to take on leadership roles in process improvement initiatives. This comprehensive course delves deep into the Lean Six Sigma methodology, equipping participants with the advanced skills necessary to lead complex projects and drive organizational change.
Throughout this course, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework and learn to utilize sophisticated statistical tools and techniques for data analysis and decision-making. Emphasis will be placed on project management, strategic planning, and effective communication to ensure successful implementation of Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to mentor Green and Yellow Belts, lead cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their organizations.
Please Note: This class may be canceled if the minimum enrollment number is not met.
Participants will also receive an FSCJ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt digital badge upon completion. This secure, verifiable digital credential for certificate completion can be shared with career networks and demonstrates your achievement to current and potential employers, and value in both educational and professional communities.
