OSHA 10 Hour General Industry

The FSCJ Continuing Workforce Education OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training course is designed to provide entry-level general industry workers with a broad understanding of how to identify and prevent workplace hazards. This program introduces students to key OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, along with essential safety and health principles and best practices outlined in OSHA Act Part 1910. The course places special emphasis on the most hazardous areas in general industry, using OSHA standards as a guide. Workers in general industry may be required to undergo additional, job-specific training as mandated by OSHA standards to address particular hazards in their roles.
