FSCJ is closed for Winter Break, Thursday, December 19-Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. The College will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Veteran Center for Excellence

The Veteran Center for Excellence is designed to provide, improve and expand services for Veteran students at FSCJ. The Center offers a holistic, student-centered environment that supports Veteran students’ academic and career goals, as well as their personal and mental well-being.

Our Goals

  • Create a welcoming, engaging space for all FSCJ Veteran students
  • Provide Veteran students with the tools and services they need to succeed at FSCJ
  • Help Veteran students with graduation and career placement or additional education needs, such as bachelor’s degree placement

Student Veterans of America (SVA)

The Student Veterans of America is a not-for-profit coalition of student veterans at Florida State College at SVA Logo Jacksonville. Our mission is to advocate for the collective interests of all student veterans of the armed forces and those who support them.

The Veteran Center for Excellence offers several ways for Veteran students to stay engaged during their time at FSCJ. To learn more about the Center, FSCJ’s Student Veterans of America chapter or to volunteer as a mentor in the Vet2Vet program, please email vets@fscj.edu or call (904) 357-8890.
