Jun 9, 2022, 12:56 PM by System

On Friday, September 18, faculty and staff participated in the first-ever virtual Data Summit to discuss student, staff and service area demographics, a review of FSCJ’s #RealCollege Survey results and an overview of the effects of COVID-19 on the 2020 Spring Term.

Focusing on the data presented, more than 200 attendees were led through presentations and discussions centered on shaping FSCJ's future one equity gap at a time. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in an interactive breakout session to apply the knowledge they gained through the presentations and to better identify ways to close equity gaps among faculty, staff and students.

Dr. Avendano kicked off the event by celebrating FSCJ’s diversity, but also acknowledging equity gaps and what we can do as a College to close them. Dr. Jerrett Dumouchel and Lisa Moore presented Equity Gaps in Higher Education & Student, Staff and Service Area Demographics, Sarah Reardon and Dr. Renita Thompson shared the #RealCollege survey results and Dr. Greg Michalski and Dr. Betsy Stoutmorrill presented a pandemic research project overview.
