Professor Tim Gilmore's latest novel, "The Book of Isaiah," is a historical book treatment piece on the founder of Jacksonville, Isaiah David Hart. The book is the first of Gilmore's works to also come with a soundtrack.

On Saturday, October 28, a reading and book signing event will be held at 8 p.m. at The Second Floor, 1037 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204. The event will also feature Professor Shep Shepard's illustrations and the music of Dead Shepard Sounds.

Admission tickets are $15 and include two drinks and an appetizer. $25 tickets include the book.
