Women's History Month Celebration Continues

Throughout the month of March, we've been celebrating Women's History Month. Below are the remaining events:

Don’t Touch My Hair
March 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
North Campus, Building D
Join us for a holistic look at women's hairstyles through the decades. Featuring functionality, style and grace. This event will feature an up-close look at trending hairstyles and their inspirations through time. All hairstyles will be crafted by the College’s Cosmetology students. This event is offered in partnership with the Cosmetology Department.

Women’s Welding Day
March 29, 9-11 a.m.
Downtown Campus, B-113E
Women are welders, too! Join us to learn the basic skills of welding. Participants must wear low-heeled, closed-toe shoes and natural fiber (cotton, linen, wool) clothing. Safety glasses will be provided. This event is offered in partnership with the School of Technology and Industry.

Closing Event - Hats Off To Women
March 30, Noon-2 p.m.
Advanced Technology Center, T-140
Join us as we tip our hats to a few unsung heroines of the FSCJ and Jacksonville communities. Be sure to wear your hat!
