FSCJ to Host a Town Hall Event on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

WHAT:           Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host an interactive Community Town Hall, “AI in Higher          Education: Possibilities and Perils,” featuring presidents from local colleges and universities. They will share insights into how their respective institutions are embracing the possibilities of AI while addressing the challenges it presents in higher education.

Panelists include:

  • Dr. John Avendano, President, FSCJ
  • Mr. Tim Cost, President, Jacksonville University
  • Dr. Moez Limayem, President, University of North Florida
  • Mr. Joe Pickens, J.D., President, St. Johns River State College

The guided discussion will be moderated by FSCJ Professor of Communications Dr. Audrey Antee and FSCJ Professor of Humanities Dr. Scott Cason. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask the panelists their questions as well.

Light refreshments will be provided to in-person attendees. A virtual option is also available.
