FSCJ Holiday Hours

FSCJ is closed for Winter Break, Thursday, December 19-Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. The College will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025.

FSCJ eSports provides current students the opportunity to participate in Collegewide recreational and eSports tournaments, as well as the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) competitions and Florida College System Collegiate eLeague (FCSCE). Students can participate from either home or the Student Life Centers on campus.

National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE)

njcaa logoFSCJ is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE).  Founded in 2019, NJCAAE is the only national esports association exclusively for two-year colleges. The NJCAAE is committed to increasing access to team dynamics, school representation, and campus life for the benefit of student-athletes and member institutions alike. Esports participants and NJCAAE members benefit through meaningful, educational and transformative opportunities which lead to greater retention and completion rates for participants. Already boasting over 125 schools from all regions of the United States after just five terms of competition, the NJCAAE continues to make inroads to be the association of choice for all 2-year schools.

Florida College System Collegiate eLeague (FCSCE)

FSCJ eSports is a founding member of the Florida College System Collegiate eLeague (FCSCE). Established in February 2021, each of the following Florida College System institutions sponsors an eSports program/club:

  • Broward College
  • Eastern Florida State College
  • Florida State College at Jacksonville
  • Pasco-Hernandez State College
  • Polk State College
  • Seminole State College of Florida
  • Tallahassee Community College

Multiple tournaments are held every term.  Game titles include but are not limited to Apex, Call of Duty, League of Legends, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros: Ultimate and Valorant.
