This course is designed to provide non-native English speakers with a comprehensive and immersive experience in mastering the nuances of the English language. Through focused practice, students will gain confidence in pronouncing words accurately, using proper articulation, and mastering the rhythm, stress, and melody (intonation) of Standard American English speech. By engaging in activities such as guided oral exercises, conversational role-play, and pronunciation drills, learners will be able to apply what they learn in real-life scenarios.
Our approach is tailored to help participants improve their clarity and communication skills in both personal and professional settings. This means not only reducing speech errors but also developing an awareness of how to adjust speaking speed, tone, and inflection to convey meaning effectively. The interactive, face-to-face format of this course allows for immediate feedback, personalized guidance, and hands-on practice that ensures each student receives the attention and support they need to progress.
*Company group classes available upon request.
Please Note: This class may be canceled if the minimum enrollment number is not met. Any course-related correspondence will be sent to your FSCJ student email address.
