FSCJ to Host Family Literacy Fair in Partnership with River City Readers

WHAT:           Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host the Family Literacy Fair, a free event designed to share the joy of reading with children in grades kindergarten through sixth. This year’s event is hosted in partnership with River City Readers, Mayor Deegan’s citywide literacy challenge for school-aged children. 

Families are invited to enjoy reading-focused activities including:

• Free book giveaways (while supplies last)
• Art stations
• Story reading
• Face painting
• READ USA and Jacksonville Public Library information tables
• Vision screenings with Vision is Priceless
• Snow cones
