FSCJ Men’s Basketball Team to Compete in District Championship Game

WHAT:           Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) Men’s Basketball team advances to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Gulf South District Championship, where they will play Region 22 Champion Snead State Community College from Boaz, AL.

FSCJ won the Florida College System Activities Association (FSCAA) Division II NJCAA Region 8 Men’s Basketball Championship last weekend, defeating the No. 3 seed, Florida Gateway College 80-70. This is FSCJ’s first Region 8 title in College history.

Should FSCJ win the Gulf South Championship, the team will advance to the national tournament for the first time in school history.                   

For anyone traveling to attend the game, admission is free. For those who cannot attend, the game will be livestreamed on the ACCC network and the YouTube page.
